A local legend for most of his life, Hanley Page has been playing in and around southern California since age 12. He has delved into most styles of American music, from Surf Music to Country, Grunge and Heavy Metal he is as good with a ballad as a 40's Jump Blues tune.
He still plays almost 300 nights a year and is well respected for his talents from Orange County, & Las Vegas to Port Hueneme. In 2000 he finished his first CD "Loco Legends." Featuring many local talents, and diverse styles from 70's Rock & Jazz to various Country & Mexican-American styles. Hanley Page songs Hanley started playing his folks' upright piano in the late 50's, learning how to play in C, F, and G along with Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis. His friends liked his boogie woogie and some of them went out and bought what today are known as vintage Fender guitars, so HP had to learn how to play in the keys of E, A and B. The new band played instrumentals ala Duane Eddy and The Lively Ones for local teen centers and supermarket openings. Things were going pretty well until the Beatles came along and screwed everything up.
