You Don't Always Have What It Takes CD (2008)
With high energy shows and gripping guitar licks The Railjacks are coming into their own. Formed in 2005, the band of surprisingly young musicians has played in all types of venues drawing fans in with blazing guitar riffs and a unique sound. Influenced more recently by The White Stripes, Kings of Leon and The Black Keys and with unwavering respect and knowledge of the classic acts of the 60's/70's and original delta blues musicians The Railjacks' sound continues to evolve. Their first two self produced CD's, have been released by Above The Garage Records and represent 31 of the earlier songs written by the bands front man, lead guitarist and singer Josh Cohen. A prolific songwriter Josh has written over one hundred songs during the last two years and the band expects to release a third Railjacks CD in the Summer of 2008. The band is rounded out by Adam Beck, a young and accomplished musician who handles the drums with authority and Zach Moore an excellent guitarist in his own right who jams on the bass. Watch for The Railjacks to be performing throughout the Chicago and Milwaukee area. These guys rock and continue to gain notice.
