Let Me Be Here CD (2009)
John Gerard songs Not so long ago on a cold October evening I was walking through Harvard Square distracted by the crowded sidewalks and my own troubled thoughts of the days earlier shoot. What Lies Between CD (2008)
John Gerard CD discography "John Gerard's songs are real. Raw. Honest. Pure. And what a singer he is, what a beautiful voice. His new CD What Lies Between is a lovely, highly listenable body of work. Steve Rapson did a fine job producing this record. It sounds fantastic, it sounds like John. Accessible, pure, unpretentious." Mary Gauthier

John Gerard CD discography Probably the most essential of the many Guitar Slim anthologies available, 1991's SUFFERIN' MIND collects Eddie Jones' classic 1953-'55 recordings for the New Orleans-based Specialty Records label. This 26-track collection, which features a number of unreleased tracks and alternate takes, is also of interest to rhythm and blues fans because Slim's musical director/piano player at this time was Ray Charles. It's all Slim's ...

1951-1954 CD (2005)
John Gerard albums There are several blues musicians who have performed and recorded as "Guitar Slim." While Virginia native Alec Seward was among the first to cop that stage name, one vibrant and sadly short-lived "Slim" left in his wake a strongly influential legacy of great blues records that contributed mightily to the development of rock & roll. This particular Guitar Slim was born Edward "Eddie" ...
