David Max music CDs Producer Kramer (Shimmy Disc, Bongwater) worked hard with Tadpole to work sound into every nook and cranny of the four tracks here. The dual guitars and vocals are a diffuse nebula of space rock. These soaking sounds bring to mind easy comparisons to Spacemen 3 and Galaxie 500. Layer upon layer is dovetailed together for a final product that is dense, to a certain extent psychedelic. The album was produced by Edward ODowd & Genesis and mastered by Bryin Dall at Waxy Yellow Build Up Studios, New York, July 2008. Most of the tracks were recorded live for NPR's World Cafe program at WXPN-FM's studios in Philadelphia and at Galapagos Arts Space, Brooklyn, 2007.
