Freddie Pate discography Les Amis de la Llouisianne is a traditional cajun dance band, performing at area restaurants, night clubs, and festivals in South Louisiana. They are known for the 'spice' and 'flare' they add to all their performances, giving their fans a true Cajun experience. Fier D'etre Cajun, released in 1998, contains 15 tracks of the special brand of Cajun music.

Dans la Louisiane (In Louisiana) CD (1996)
Freddie Pate music CDs The sound of the Basin Brothers changed a bit when new accordionist Errol Verret replaced founding member Danny Collet. Collet had co-written tunes with main man Al Berard, while on Dans la Louisiane every cut that isn't traditional is credited solely to Berard. Not surprisingly, Berard's fiddle is higher in the mix and plays more lead lines than in the Basin Brothers' previous albums. Berard is enough of a player and vocalist to justify the focus on his work, and enough of a star that they were now relegated to the status of his backup band.
