BareNaked CD (2002)
Goldo CD discography You may know her best as TV's Sarah Reeves, but even during Jennifer Love Hewitt's mid-'90s heyday as a fixture on Party Of Five, she was cutting albums on the side. Despite being signed by Jive, (home of Britney and much of the bubblegum brigade), Hewitt enlisted more mature singer-songwriter Meredith Brooks to produce BARENAKED, her third American album. Together, Brooks and Hewitt turned out a record that allows the actress-turned-vocalist to cut loose minus any trite arrangements. Bad Bad One CD (2002)
Goldo discography Sometimes a monster hit single can be an albatross around an artist's neck. After "Bitch" propelled Meredith Brooks to the top of the charts, doubters lined up to cast aspersions on her ability to duplicate the feat. She probably never will, and good for her. Instead, on BAD BAD ONE (as well as its predecessor), Brooks continues to go for the pop jugular by mixing cutting-edge production (funky drum loops, angular samples) with the post-Alanis singer-songwriter approach (even though Brooks has been around the block a ...
