Man That Time Forgot CD (2011)
John Paul Keith music CDs Twangy Memphis-based singer/songwriter John Paul Keith and his band the One Four Fives deliver a rollicking mix of power pop, country, and blues-inflected rock on Keith's 2011 sophomore effort, The Man That Time Forgot. Picking up where 2009's Spills and Thrills left off, The Man That Time Forgot is an even more sharply honed piece of rootsy melodicism that brings to mind a mix of Elvis Costello, Dwight Twilley, and Gram Parsons. In fact, for fans of that kind of slapback, Fender-twang pop played by other like-minded ...

Spills and Thrills CD (2009)
John Paul Keith discography John Paul Keith is an industry vet whose previous acts all glimpsed varying degrees of alt-rock success without ever landing the real deal. While SPILLS AND THRILLS might not provide JPK with his long sought ticket to ride, there's an organic homespun feel to the songs here that finds the ace journeyman simply kicking back and having a rollicking good time. Disco Outlaw CD (2009)
John Paul Keith albums As one of Memphis's most well-known local musicians, Jack Oblivian has played in countless garage punk bands over the years, most notably the Oblivians and the Compulsive Gamblers. On his third solo album as Jack-O & the Tennessee Tearjerkers, Oblivian (né Yarber) plays up many of the more roots- oriented touches found on the Gamblers' albums. Though there are plenty of rough-and-tumble guitar jams here, Oblivian allows for plenty of twang and even heads deep into the ...
