Tom Cherry & Friends Tom Cherry & Friends CD (2009)
CD $17.99 Buy It  Details
Tom Cherry CD discography Tom Cherry:Born: Honolulu HawaiiI just wanted to bring to everyone a little different kind of sound. I started performing on Maui in 2002 with friends I met around the Island. My first instrument I originally played was the Viola but got bored and taught myself to play guitar. I went from surfing to snowskiing to windsurfing, which landed me here on Maui. My favorite musicians are Robert Cray, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Carlos Santana, Lenny Kravitz and of course Jimi Hendrix. It's hard to name everyone who's music I have enjoyed through the years. I've been performing at clubs and special events on Maui since about 2002. This Cd has a little something for everyone. A little Soft Rock, a little Soft Country, and of course a groove that we all can relate too. The title track "What you talkin about" I feel really sends a message about what our world is going through and how we can try and come together. I hope that you will enjoy this CD. And as I always say, "Life is a Wonderful Thing". Aloha Tom Cherry

You and I You and I CD (1997)

Tom Cherry albums By the late '90s, Teddy Pendergrass was no longer the superstar he once was, due not only to changing fashions but also to the lackluster quality of his music. With 1997's You and I, he made an attempt to revive his career, and even though the album is not perfect, he largely succeeds. The material on You and I is fairly uneven, but the best moments on the album, including "Let's Talk About It" and the title track, demonstrate that Pendergrass still has the ability to create richly seductive urban soul. It's his best album in years. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine Engineers include: Carl Angstadt, Jim Salamone, Ted Karapalides.
