Everything Was Beautiful And Nothing Hurt CD (2001)
Andrew Coleman music CDs This album, the first Andrew Coleman has released under his own name, marks a significant progression from the work he's done under his better-known moniker Animals on Wheels. His previous efforts were rooted strongly in the drum-and-bass department (albeit tempered by an indefatigable desire for envelope-pushing), but on EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL, Coleman leaves behind the dizzying breakbeats and staccato sequencers in favor of more abstract realms. Coleman hasn't exactly gone ambient; there's still plenty of grit and edginess to his electronic soundscapes, but he's painting with a broader brush on a bigger canvas.
Exotic tone colors and atmospheric textures float above gently skittering, seldom loop-like rhythms. But even the most fragile, melodic elements here are discreetly tweaked, processed just enough to add an effective off-kilter quality. In this manner, Coleman strikes a nice balance between the dreamy and the visceral.

Andrew Coleman CD discography HARD CANDY continues in the driving, club-oriented vein of 2005's CONFESSIONS ON A DANCE FLOOR, proving that Madonna has lost none of her energy and verve with age. In terms of material, in fact, HARD CANDY bests its predecessor, and the artist continues to make herself relevant in the 2000s by adding distinctly hip-hop grooves to her increasingly electronica-driven sound. Remarkably, the result never sounds like a blatant commercial appeal. As with nearly everything she's done, this groove-heavy disc is distinctly Madonna's own.
The Material Girl sculpted her sound this time out by hiring some of the hottest producers on the scene, including Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell and the Neptunes. Cuts like the lead-off single, "4 minutes" (a duet with Timberlake), and the thumping, sexy title track sparkle with a contemporary club feel, begging listeners to turn it up and shake it. Yet Madonna's ...

Andrew Coleman albums Joel & Benji Madden are both members of the group Good Charlotte.
Additional personnel includes: Joel Madden, Benji Madden (vocals); Lenny Kravitz, Andrew Coleman (guitar); Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson (drums).
While often boundary-expanding, the ubiquitous beats of the Neptunes (Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo) are supremely radio-friendly. However, when Williams and Hugo are two-thirds of N.E.R.D. (alongside Shay), the genie is out of the bottle, ...
