Antonella De Grossi e Marco Siniscalco have been walking the same artistic path from more than 20 years with a mutual affinity for different styles of music. This new project was born of a shared desire to challenge the most classic italian repertoire - the Neapolitan- which spans six centuries from XVI century anonymous folk songs through the great tradition of the XIX and XX century represented by E. A. Mario, Salvatore Di Giacomo, Ernesto Murolo. First, they formed a duo: on the one side bassist Marco Siniscalco's exceptional talent for creating original and elegant arrangements, featuring his rich and mature instrumental sound; on the other Antonella De Grossi, whose passionate voice and sensitive approach to lyric and melodic material lends a unique and highly enjoyable character to each piece. The project grew overtime to include a string quartet and a percussionist, creating an original fusion of sound and color.
