 Trevor Jackson Biography
Artist (aka Underdog) is known mainly for his remix and production work for a number of high-profile artists including U2, Massive Attack, House of Pain, and Death in Vegas. Jackson had previously run his own label, Bite It! Records, working closely with multicultural hip-hop crew the Brotherhood, releasing their first EP, DESCENDANTS OF THE HOLOCAUST in 1991. In 1996, he started a new imprint, Output Recordings and began his Playgroup project. The group's 2002 self-titled debut was recorded at Edwyn Collins' North London studio and featured contributions from Collins and Roddy Frame (Aztec Camera). Jackson released 12-inch singles and EPs by Playgroup and others into the new millennium, finally retiring the label in 2006.
