Santiago Mata albums On 2006's E.S.L., the Los Angeles-based duo Akwid sticks with its patented blend of hard-hitting hip-hop and traditional, horn-led Mexican banda. Featuring rapping brothers Sergio and Francisco Gomez, the act performs primarily in Spanish (see the dramatic "El Principio"), but makes an exception for "Just Another Day," a lively English-language collaboration with Los Horoscopos De Durango.
