Thousand Shark's Teeth CD (2008)
Sebastian Krueger CD discography Like Saint Vincent's Annie Clark, Shara Worden is a former member of Sufjan Stevens' touring band, making solo recordings under a band name. Worden, who has a degree in opera from the University of North Texas, has a startlingly pretty and malleable voice, and her richly textured arrangements introduce strings, harps, and other unexpected elements. A gorgeously orchestrated album of sweeping ballads, A THOUSAND SHARK'S TEETH has moments of ravishing beauty.

Glowing Mouth CD (2011)
Sebastian Krueger music CDs Following 2008's Seven Summits and vocalist Kyle Wilson's climbing accident, Milagres returned to the studio for 2012's Glowing Mouth. The record is what one might expect from a quintet of Brooklynites wearing flannels and beards: warm, lush harmonies, acoustic guitars, and thick production that many bands with a bear, horse, or deer in their name share. The problem is, because Glowing Mouth sounds like an imitation of a trend that broke five years earlier, it has a "been there, done that," Brooklyn-by-numbers sort of feel. All that said, there's no ignoring the ...

HEAVY GHOST also includes guest collaborator and Asthmatic Kitty records honcho Sufjan Stevens.
