What a horrible night to have a curse CD (2009)
64revolt music CDs Finding it's current form after Matilda Stalin joined the band in 2005, 64revolt quickly defined their new sound with the release of the EP "Ballads of Malice and Discontent". Influences of chiptune and rave music shaped the songs that already were filled with punk and hardcore aesthetics. Although somewhat disconnected from the hardcore scene, 64revolt participated on a tribute compilation in 2007 for the legendary band Atari Teenage Riot with a cover of their song "You Can't Hold Us Back" (D-Trash Rec). With their combination of screaming punk attitudes and very accessible dance music, 64revolt has always worked well with a live audience. Having performed at most of all the major festivals in Sweden, and setting up shows in several European cities like London, Amsterdam and Milan, 64revolt has earned a reputation for being a spectacle whether on a big stage or cornered in a crowded club. With their new album "what a horrible night to have a curse" (the title is a homage to 80's videogames), 64revolt moves further into the pop and club scene with beats and melodies suitable for dance floors just as much as live shows and home stereos.
"It's nostalgic, but in a progressive way. 64revolt's influences, Famicoms and Atari Teenage Riot and synthpop, are blended together to create something new rather than to wax sentimental about the good old 8-bit days." [the-inbetween]
"Male and female vocals shout it out in a distorted punk stylee whilst simple electro-rhythms and sounds create an almost pleasant cacophony of vintage video game bleeps and sweeps and old hardcore rave sounds." [Terrorizer]
"64revolt doesn't emulate the 80s electronics, but reinvent it their own way!" [Side-Line]

Aim For The Flat Top CD (2008)
64revolt discography 64revolt was initially formed by believing in the power of machines. And NOT in believing in the society as it is today. We think that the audience is fed up with stage performers who think they can dictate what is right and what is wrong. We do admire that kind of effort but we have chosen another path.
64Revolt has always hated the idea of becoming just another digital hardcore-band, we try to make music that fills a void in the music-community of today. We are part of the 80's videogame-generation and we feel that the Nintendo and c64-like sounds in our music is our common language opposed to a guitar-solo or something like that.
Every record has of course meant a great deal to us at the time it has been released. However our latest is most definitely the one that we appreciate the most. Here we think that we have found our ...
