Opening Act CD (2008)
"Almost Famous" is not only Point5's signature statement, but it is a phrase that gives insight to what this beyond average, Christian hip hop artist is all about. "I'm Almost Famous, but that's all I've ever been and all I'll ever be!because Christ is the only one deserving of fame. I'm just the Opening Act!" Point5 delivers captivating lyrics with a demanding delivery that entices his audience into viewing God in a new light. This St. Louis native teaches and preaches the word of God in a way that shows God not only as an all powerful ruler and judge, but as life changing, miracle worker. The God that Point5 serves is "fresh, fly, and more like a homie!" This attitude becomes evident in the way that Point5 carries himself on and off stage. From his flashy lyrics, energetic delivery, and hype performance to his "fly boi" attitude and laid back sense of cool. Point5 is exactly what today's uninterested society needs.
Point5 is motivating, he's inspiring, and he is a living testimony to the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ. Unlike the rest of the hip hop community, Point5's lyrics are not focused on bling or fancy cars. Unlike the rest of the Christian rap community, Point5's lyrics are not about how he used to sell drugs or how he grew up in the hood. The music that Point5 produces is about representing God in a bold way. A way that says, "Yeah I'm cool, yeah I'm the flyest thing walking, but it's because I SERVE CHRIST." This message doesn't just give people a love for God, but it inspires them to brag about what God has done in their lives. Finally, Point5's music is clear, and concise. There is no need to struggle to understand the message that is being given. In a world that is dying for a change, change is what is needed. Point5 is that change.

Focus CD (2009)
What happened? Common Man of the Focus album is a completely different creature than of the Element album in 2007... and it's awesome. His Focus project is a culmination of growth in skill and spiritual wisdom. It's an anomaly because generally Holy Hip Hop doesn't have artists this versatile; The contrast of artists and styles melted and merged on the Focus album keeps you listening from start to finish. Songs like "High" with Point 5 or others such as Victorious and the Victorious Remix with Kuntry Boyy and Mike Real give you more than expected from a declared "Christian" artist. "Alive" featuring New York's own Hee Sun Lee is an example of intense meaningful lyricism... not just empty words and entertainment. This album is a very safe bet. Enjoy.

Element CD (2007)
Common Man is exactly what the stage name implies... yet simultaneously focused and unique. The name has many inspirations all rooted to the fact that the original 12 disciples of Jesus Christ were common people. The name is more of a reminder than a description. He found his passion and received his calling for this art and ministry while still in the United States Air Force. The most notable trait observed during his term of service was his uplifted, positive and people-oriented demeanor. Those facets of his personality are just as tangible in song as they are in person.
After being seen in a local Christian bookstore open mic session, local ...
