Promises Of The Heart CD (1995)
John McGrath CD discography One day in 1986, Elissa Lala and her husband, producer John Valentino gathered their belongings and left South Philadelphia, heading west to the city of Angels in hope of furthering her singing career. Eight years later, Lala (yes, that's her real name)released her first album "Promises of the Heart" on Four Winds, which she hopes will "touch the hearts of many." The music has influences of R&B, Rock, and Jazz, and the lyrics are spiritual, with a Christian message of love and hope.
"This album was never a labor to create," explains Elissa."The songs and message were clear from the start." The music expresses the singer's innermost feelings, and truly comes straight from her heart.
