We All Have Tales CD discography "The Boy Who Drew Cats" is a folk tale from Japan with illustrations by David Johnson. William Hurt recounts this legendary Japanese story about a young boy whose only talent is drawing pictures of cats. With Mark Isham's score painting the audio backdrop, Hurt describes the boy's fateful journey into the famine-ravaged countryside, which is haunted by an unknown demon. The boy is guided only by a few mysterious words from his mother: "Do not forget! Avoid large places at night--keep to small." ~ MusD Music by Mark Isham.
