Empire and Dean CD discography Reg-Tone Records presents the New Dynamic Duo of Empire and Dean recording a Sam Cooke classic, their version of "A Change is Gonna Come". During my birthday celebration in Las Vegas in September 2008, as a special treat, a beautiful rendition of this classic Sam Cooke song was performed for me. It was unique in that it was sung in a duet. I have never heard this song performed in that fashion. It created a very special sound; a sound so special that two weeks later Empire and Dean were invited to Los Angeles for a recording session. The guys sung their hearts out and as a result this soulful classic will thrive once again. But I couldn't stop there. While gathering musicians for the recording session, the instrumental with the guitar solo and sing-a-long versions were born: A harpist, strings and a rhythm section. What beautiful music they made.
