Artists from Dave Matthews to the Roots' ?uestlove to Mike Doughty champion the legacy of gone-but-not-forgotten nightclub Wetlands Preserven in this documentary. This insightful and entertaining documentary tracks the history of this first-ever activist nightclub, a place that was as devoted to environmental and political issues as it was to partying and great music. But it was much more than a typical rock and roll joint. Featuring interviews and concert footage with artists like Dave Matthews, Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers Band), Bob Weir (Grateful Dead), Phish, and Blues Traveler Until 2001 this ex-Chinese restaurant just south of the Holland Tunnel hosted the latest up-and-coming artists in every musical genre.
Wetlands was one of the hottest venues for underground music in New York City. Directed by Dean Budnick, WETLANDS PRESERVED combines film of the club's business from 1989 to 2001 with animation and musical performances from some of rock's best-loved names.

In the fall of 2003 Zac, Isaac & Taylor Hanson embarked on an acoustic tour to set up the release of their third studio album, Underneath.
