Lukas (played with brave abandon by Daniel Bruhl) is a handsome 21-year-old who moves to Cologne to live with his sister, Kati (Anabelle Lachatte), and her pot-smoking friend, Jochen (Patrick Joswig). Hans Weingartner's THE WHITE SOUND is a relentless, unflinching, and, above all else, arrestingly honest depiction of a young man's descent into schizophrenia. At first, things are great, as the trio hit the town, partying to their hearts' content.
