When, in order to please his boss at the hospital, he agrees to escort a young orphan to the Swiss border so he can meet his adoptive parents, Mauro doesn't quite realize what he's signing on for. Mauro (Maurizio Mattioli) is a 50-year-old nurse who lives an almost reclusive existence in Rome.
