This film explores the world of 12-year-old Meena, who has moved to England with her Indian family. This odd, winning comedy follows Meena (Chandeep Uppal), a 12-year-old who moves with her family from India to England and befriends the local rebel, Anita (Anna Brewster). Meena wheedles her way into Anita's life, but the arrival of a baby brother, teenage hormones and impending entrance exams threaten to turn her salad days sour. She is embarrassed by her eccentric relatives and friends and latches onto the town bad girl, the blonde, rebellious Anita.
