On its 2006 debut, UNITED WE FEAR, the alternative-metal ensemble the Accident Experiment presents a set of muscular, riff-driven rock that bears the strong influence of the more prog elements of Tool and P.O.D., particularly on the surging "Sick Love Letter" and the expansive "Mind Death Machine." In fact, Accident Experiment's guitarist, Marcos Curiel, is a former member of the latter band, ensuring that it has the chops to hold its own with acts of that caliber.
