Long Island-bred Artist matched driving pop-punk/emo sounds with witty lyricism on their 2001 debut album, YOUR FAVORITE WEAPON, and in due course, they'd earned a big enough following to land the follow-up a home on a major label. DEJA ENTENDU showed the band growing by leaps and bounds, greatly expanding their sound and their production aesthetic.
