Evanescence Biography
Coming from the heartland of America (Little Rock, AR), Artist mixes the heavy guitar crunch of nu-metal with the moody atmosphere and electronic flavoring of goth rock. Singer/keyboardist Amy Lee also bears the influence of singer/songwriters like Tori Amos and Alanis Morissette. The band built up a following with a couple of independent releases before their first widely distributed album, 2003's FALLEN, made them a coast-to-coast smash
