Mad Professor Biography
A direct aesthetic descendent of Lee Perry, Coxsone Dodd, and other early reggae studio pioneers, the African-born/London-based Artist has been one of England's most influential dub musicians since his career began in the early 1980s. He has remixed well-known artists in the pop, dance, and reggae music worlds; collaborated with various top-shelf reggae producers; and made numerous albums with his mentor, "Scratch" Perry. The Prof is an extremely prolific artist, with a large number of his recordings released as installments in one of his two long-running series: DUB ME CRAZY and BLACK LIBERATION.
