While the Sex Pistols will always have a prominent place in the story of U.K. punk, the Artist did nearly everything first, including the first single, the smoking "New Rose," and the first album, namely this stone classic of rock & roll fire. To prove that the Artist never die, their debut is back - complete with the 'accidental' Eddie & The Hot Rods artwork which graced the collectable original pressing. At just half an hour long, Artist Artist Artist is a permanent testimony to original guitarist Brian James' songwriting (ten of the 12 tracks are his) and the band's take-no-prisoners aesthetic. It's also arguably the best, showcasing the band's snotty-nosed, no-frills, high-octane sound in all its rampaging glory. Slipcase.
