$14.29 Without getting into what modern swamp pop is or isn't (it seems to be New Orleans R&B crossed with 1950s rock & roll, with a few sprinkles of country and Memphis soul tossed in, plus a heavy dose of horn-driven zydeco), this fourth sampler from CSP falls right in line with the other volumes in the Pure Swamp Pop Gold series, which should come as no big surprise, since it includes most of the same artists.
