At least the Time Music International label is up-front about it: "This album contains some tracks that are re-recorded. No. Some of the re-recordings aren't poor by any stretch, but could they possibly be preferable to the original versions? Tracks featuring groups were recorded using as many of the original group members as possible." And then, after reading that, a little buzzer in the back of your head should go off, which tells you to stay away. When there are discs available like Rhino's This Is Where the Happy People Go, there's no solid reason for discs like this one to exist.
