Guitar Tribute To Radiohead CD (2008)

What Guitar Tribute to Radiohead ends up sounding like, however, is a Windham Hill-appropriate collection, with prettily picked, clean guitars taking over the lines that Thom Yorke would've sung, without any of the emotion or intensity that makes Radiohead so worth listening to. Instead, these are watered down and anesthetized versions of the originals, with the most damage coming during "Karma Police" and "Exit Music (For a Film)," which are poor, poor copies of excellent pieces. This album of instrumental versions of ten of Radiohead's songs is played not by the band but by a small collection of guitars, with the addition of the occasional electronic percussion.
