The Vancouver based band plays as fast, hard, and melodically as any of their thrash metal compatriots, but with a refreshing sense of humor that results in songs that serve as both homage and parody of the genre. Zimmers Hole wasn't the first band to offer a parody of heavy metal -- the '80s gave us Spinal Tap and GWAR -- but there have been having some good-natured laughs at metal's expense since 1994.
